We're talking about Tennessee's Carol Ann McCandless. Together, with help from members of her guild, she created larger than life art that lives in a luxury apartment building in an iconic area near Nashville. How did she do that? How would you even begin to start? Well, her story is heartening. Not to mention, how she went from a client's image, to the internet, to an inspiring original design, and then scaled that design.

Tiffany, from Needle in a Hayes Stack, has some fresh ideas for working with charm squares. Plus, ombre fabrics are really beautiful, right? But what can you do with them? Well, Tiffany has some om-pressive ideas.

Tara shows you how to break out of the matchy-matchy mindset, and start combining fabrics from different designers and eras with ease.
Debuting February 1, 2026: On the next Quilt Show, Judith Phelps joins us and she makes quilts that are award-winning and breath-taking that make you stop and look. Judith says that many of her quilts were inspired from a line in a book she was reading, or, from a small group challenge. Since she loves to threadpaint, see how she sandwiches the quilt for quilting, and then, presto impresso, you suddenly have a two-sided quilt. Part of how Judith achieves her realism is she does thread-blending, and she's sharing with you her best tricks.
