Tangerine Tango by Jan Frazer won First Place - Hand Quilted Quilts at AQS QuiltWeek - Daytona Beach 2026.

Artist Statement (AQS QuiltWeek - Daytona Beach 2026)"I was inspired by a coverlet in the Victoria and Albert Museum. I enjoyed deciding the shape and placement of the flowers to get a cohesive overall design. The real fun started as the colors and fabrics were selected. I mainly worked on the appliqué at my weekly Wednesday quilting group and the close-up hand quilting was completed over several years. I loved the whole process, though at the end, I just wanted to finish it."

Artist Statement (Road to California 2026): "Design inspired by a mid 18th-century coverlet held in the Victoria & Albert Museum in London. Colour choices are based on my love of strong colours. Hand appliqué and hand quilted."
