Artist Statement: "Of all the art forms I have pursued, quilting is the most gratifying. On this quilt, I set out to make a blue quilt and wanted to use my very favorite fabrics from my fabric stash. It made for a very bright center! Even though the hardest part was the hand couching, this was easily the most fun I've had while making any quilt so far!"

Techniques Used: Machine Piecing; Machine and Turned-Edge Appliqué; Beading, Crystals, and Couching; Buttonhole Stitching; Free-Motion, Matchstick, and Ruler-Work Quilting
