WeAllSew Tutorial: How to Make a Quilted Sunglasses Case
On Monday, Punxsutawney Phil predicted that there would be six more weeks of Winter. While we may have to weather a few more weeks of cold, one remedy to get through the chilly season is to start thinking of what you'll need for those warmer months and sunny days ahead. One such accessory you may ask? Why, a case for your sunglasses of course, and aquiltingjewel at WeAllSew will show you how to make one that you can have finished and ready in no time at all.
From aquiltingjewel at WeAllSew:
"I recently made a bunch of quilted fabric to turn into zipper pouches for a fundraiser, but I had some smaller segments leftover that I didn’t want to throw away. I also had some fun sunglasses that I got on a recent trip to Tokyo that didn’t fit in any of the sunglass cases I had, so I decided to use some of those scraps to turn them into a useful sunglasses case. Follow along to learn how to make your own!
This project comes together extremely quickly once you have your quilted fabric. And it would even work without quilted fabric if you want to whip something up quickly for a gift. I personally like using microfiber for the lining of this sunglasses case because it serves a dual purpose: to pad the case a bit more and help keep the glasses clean."
