Do a puzzle of Nina Clotfelter's quilt, Tribal Jubilation.
When Nina's son was in high school, he made tribal drawings. So she got him to make a drawing with some spaces between it, and then she feathered said spaces on her machine using metallic thread. This design became Nina's quilt, Tribal Jubilation. After doing this, Nina says her son felt that she "ruined" the drawing. Our very own Alex Anderson had a different opinion though, and felt that what Nina did was actually pretty wonderful.
